Overview

DealScreen helps users draft venture deal screens from company links and related investment context. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when using DealScreen.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your email address, authentication events, and workspace settings. We also collect workspace invitations and roles, company URLs, generated deal screens, memo comments, votes, templates, notification preferences, usage data, and basic technical information such as device, browser, log, and security data.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers, but we may store Stripe customer, subscription, plan, and billing status identifiers so billing features work correctly.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the product, authenticate users, generate and save deal screens, operate billing, improve reliability, prevent abuse, communicate service updates, and comply with legal obligations.

AI Processing

DealScreen may send company URLs, scraped public company context, and generated prompt context to AI service providers, including Google Gemini, to produce deal screen outputs. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive information unless you have the right to do so and are comfortable with this processing.

Service Providers

We use third-party providers to operate DealScreen, including Convex for backend infrastructure, Resend for authentication, invitations, and collaboration emails, Stripe for billing, Google Gemini for AI generation, Vercel for hosting, and Slack when a workspace administrator connects a webhook for deal notifications.

Data Retention

We keep account, billing, and deal screen information for as long as needed to provide DealScreen, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your account or saved deal screens by contacting us.

Your Choices

You can sign out, delete saved deal screens in the product, manage billing through the Stripe portal, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information where applicable law provides those rights.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
